Lenka Honetschlägerová is Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Chemistry, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. Since her first research topic, she has been working with nanoparticles. At the beginning she focused on the stability of iron nanoparticles in aqueous media and ways of coating, followed by the study of nanoparticles transport in porous matrix and their interactions with specific microorganisms. Her international experience includes half a year master stay at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (Sweden). She participates in International Master of Science in Environmental Technology and Engineering (IMETE) programme as lecturer and supervisor of master thesis. IMETE is based on the collaboration of 3 universities Ghent University (Gent, Belgium), UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (Delft, The Netherlands), and University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (Prague, Czech Republic). She is teaching in courses of Contaminated Soil Treatment (Erasmus students), Information Systems in Waste Management (Master programme), Fundamentals of Toxicology and Ecology (Bachelor programme), Waste Management and Treatment (IMETE programme).
