Droplet Lab at UCT Prague Summer School

This week, UCT Prague hosted its annual summer school, and Droplet Lab was once again actively involved. As every year, Jitka prepared laboratory exercises combining elements of chemical engineering, artificial life, and liquid robots.

The students carried out experiments that have not yet been published — which makes us even more excited that they confirmed how reproducible and straightforward they are to perform. Everyone agreed that the emerging pattern formation was truly “cool” to watch — stay tuned for the paper!

The summer school participants also visited the new laboratory of Vojta Klimša, where Honza and Filip demonstrated the spray dryer. We are glad to have contributed to this week of learning and inspiration and hope the students enjoyed it as much as we did.
