Droplets in Artificial Life

This week, the Bubbles & Drops conference took place in Prague, and on Wednesday afternoon, we had a special session titled "Droplets in Artificial Life." Richard Loffler (secretary of The International Society for Artificial Life - ISAL) opened with a plenary talk on the topic, followed by inspiring contributions from Istvan Lagzi, Ágota Toth, Shinpei Tanaka, and Nina Nováková. I also shared a few thoughts about droplets as liquid robots.

It was truly wonderful to reconnect with researchers working on droplets and bubbles after so many years. But what made the week extra special was how much fun we had together as a group passionate about artificial life. I’ve visited Shinpei twice in Hiroshima, so it was a real joy to finally show him around Prague.
