ALIFE 2026 - Conference on Artificial Life
With only short breaks, Jitka has been actively involved in the Conference on Artificial Life community since 2013. This year, she is proud to serve as Program Chair of ALIFE 2026, and in 2027 she will take on the role of General Chair when the conference returns to Prague. She previously served as General Chair in Prague in 2021, although that edition was held fully online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The annual Conference on Artificial Life — ALIFE 2026 — will take place in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, from August 17–21, 2026. The conference theme, “Living and Lifelike Complex Adaptive Systems,” invites researchers across disciplines to explore the fundamental principles underlying life and lifelike processes.
The Call for Workshops, Tutorials, and Special Sessions is now open. We warmly invite proposals that help shape a diverse, inspiring, and interdisciplinary program.
